Yola Pilch

Artist Statement

My intention is to convey the sensation of space and time. The idea is to build an environment for contemplation or freeze moments that would be typically fleeting. My fascination with the surreal is evident in all my work.

Biography

Yola Pilch was born on a blustery Chicago night in the month of January 1985. She obtained her bachelor degree in painting and drawing at Eastern Illinois University, is a practicing humanist, and a dedicated mistress of the surrealist craft.

Yola is kind and just, yet merciless. Her weapon of choice is oil paint. Her accomplishments have been on display in Illinois, Oregon, Pennsylvania, and her forever home, Florida. They can be viewed on her website: www.yolapilch.com
