I consider myself a creative colorist and if one word could describe my painting it would be COLOR! Vibrant, luscious, and bold color is what sparks my creativity. By my use of color and design, I strive to transpose the ordinary into an expressive and interpretive image.
The flow of paint has always excited me so I choose to work in water medias such as watercolor, acrylics and inks. In addition to paints, my tools include crayons, papers, gels, stamps and wax. I continually experiment with any new surface that helps me develop the desired feeling for the artwork.
My artistic journey is always challenging and my goal is to convey excitement in the viewer either through color, design or texture.
