My purpose as an artist is to make work that is conceptually provocative. The mediums I chose are important in how I can push their properties, without losing sight of my original intention. The themes of my work derive from the concepts which showcase fortunes and misfortunes of the human experience, inspired by the world around me or my personal experiences. It is important for me to make a connection with the audiences of my work, whether or not the audience has an immediate connection with the content being portrayed, through medium specificity and the way it is executed.
