Artist Statement

Drawing/Painting is not something I do because I am a trained artist nor is it something I teach because I am an art teacher. Drawing and Painting move me. They transport me. There is no past or future....only now. Only the moment I am presently in. The canvas or paper is the land of infinite possibilities. It is where I deposit my dreams.

Trained in figurative drawing and painting at Tyler School of Art/Philadelphia
BFA in Illustration from Philadelphia College of Art,
studied Art Management at The American University/Washington, DC
Artist in the Graphics department of USA Today/Roslyn, VA

Active throughout the Central Florida art community exhibiting in various venues such as:

Taught "Xpress YourSELF!" Intentional Creativity(R) art classes at JSA-DaVita-Optima Medical Community Centers.
Taught various Intentional Creativity(R) workshops at The Maitland Art Center, Maitland, FL;
Taught "Create Your Own Masterpiece" classes at the Kaleidoscope Art Gallery in Longwood, FL;
Held a Live mixed media demo for the Artists League of Orange County;
Keynote speaker on Intentional Creativity(R) at the Seminole County (FL) Art Association and at the Eatonville, FL Chamber of Commerce;
Held a Live painting session for the Maitland Art Center Gala Fundraiser and Auction (painting Sold at auction);
