Artist Statement

To create & destroy. Old ideas become recycled into new ones. The transition of what becomes the new norm amongst society is my source as we are all transcending. Embracing change gives birth to a new purpose & perspective.

Biography

Dragonfleye is an expression of duality between street art and surrealism. Born in New York City in later transition to south Florida as an adult, this 24 year old artist emerged from Tampa Florida, creating enticing surreal worlds & vibrant graffiti works. The work of Dragonfleye is concentrated around the sub-conscious mind, exploring the unknown with dream like depictions. This artist speaks fluently with acrylic medium, but also includes ink, watercolor & spray paint through his works. Having a Caribbean background and growing up in the city, he incorporates his roots in his work with rhythmic lettering & powerful images.
