Artist Statement

When I create Art I have one desire and that is not to paint something that I see but something that I feel so that I can share my vision with the people who see it.

My inspiration comes from the world around me, especially the juxtaposition of colors.

I paint with fluid acrylics using different mediums to obtain various results on my canvas.

I start with an idea of something I want to paint, the colors I want to use and let my imagination do the rest. Sometimes the paint takes me to new paths that I discover along the way and uncover new ideas, landscapes, shapes that take me to places that I didn't realize were there all along.

In creating paintings with fluid art using different techniques and mediums I realize that every experience in one technique can be similar but still never be the same. Each painting is unique!

Biography

My name is Talie. I was born in France and have been living in St Petersburg, FL for four years.

I started painting three years ago. I have always loved working with my hands and wanted to create something different using paint. I discovered fluid acrylics and started following different artists online, learning in the process how to use the different techniques and mediums.

What I love about this form of art is that even if you have an idea of what you want to create, the paint sometimes guides you to different places and you follow paths that you didn't even know existed.

What I see in one painting is not always what other people see and that's the magic of everyone's imagination!
