Born and raised in Vietnam, doing art has been something I'm obsessed with but never supported by my family. For that reason, I spent years of my life trying to suppress my passion for art and divert my attention onto other areas of profession, hoping to still be able to contribute to social causes while maintaining art as a hobby. In 2021, I graduated from San Jose State University with a design degree. While looking for a job within my major, I had a panic attack. This panic attack was a result of years of self-doubts and regrets. This is when I decided not to let any fear or expectation become my limitation and finally accept my true passion in art as my lifetime career. From that moment on, I can proudly call myself an artist. With confidence, I have the strength and courage to start expressing my emotions, speaking out about social issues and explore more creative paths within the art world. I hope my stories will be able to reach more people and help them feel a little better inside.
Growing up in Vietnam, from a technical family of engineering traditions, it took me a long time until I finally accepted my passion in arts. Despite the late start in this medium, I have never stopped planning to tackle multiple modern issues through my work, hopefully contributing to making the world a better place for the next generations. My topics ranging from discussing internal mental health crisis to spreading awareness about global catastrophes, these stories always the strong wave of inspiration push me working harder and better improve my artistic journey.
My obsession with experimenting new techniques and aesthetics while still absolutely fascinated by Beaux-Arts de Paris style have heavily inspired me to create a unique representation of values and beauty standards. My works will tell you the stories and intentions through symbolisms and imagination, hoping to spark a new interest or start a discussion.
