Artist Statement

My name is Rachel Dummeldinger. I am currently residing in Plant City, Florida, with my husband and fur babies. To paint means I have the ability to break all of the rules and create whatever is rolling through me that day. I purpose myself to create different styles of work on a daily basis to keep my energy moving. My tendency is to dabble in abstract expressionism, or impressionistic work, however of late, all bets are off. I enjoy extremely abstract work and am playing around with realism as well. These days, my works are acrylic on canvas or paper, with the occasional water color piece thrown in for good measure.
My daily question is always this," How can I grow today?" Thank you for journeying with me.

Biography

My name is Rachel Dummeldinger. Currently residing in Plant City, Florida, I have been a follower of the arts for as long as I can recall. I am a mother, and grandmother who has a rich background full of singing, dancing, choreography, acting on the small stage, as well as medical, fire and EMS experience. My life is a mystery full of adventure and dare I say, a little misadventure with all of those componants working their way into my art.
For those reasons, my works are diverse, my style is ever changing and the journey to growth is my daily desire. Thank you for sharing this moment in time with me.
