Artist Statement

My name is Alexander Chase Dibrizzi, I am a abstract expressionist street style portrait painter. I graduated with a bachelors degree in industrial product design from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. My mediums are acrylics, pens, and spray paints on canvas. I create because it makes me feel free and at Peace, it is my passion to inspire others. My process: beginning with the background I using three to four colors that complement each other. From there, I add textures into the paint before it drys. Next I add the portrait in a way the background texture compliments the facial features and colors used. As I am paint the portrait, I choose a focal point and build the paint to relay dimension. I also use color shift and glow in the dark paint so that painting is never the same depending on the angle and light.

Hello, my name is Alexander chase Dibrizzi. I am a realist, abstract, expressionist, street style Portrait painter from New Jersey. I live in Tampa Florida at the moment chasing my dreams of creating for a living, i enter myself in as
many local markets and shows around the Tampa, St Pete, and other local areas.
