The road to working as an artist is not always straight nor smooth. I began my artistic journey in my childhood and bloomed into a keen interest in photography which led me to complete an Associates of Arts degree from Herkimer County Community College. Looking to further my Education I attended Mercyhurst University. Where a major in Studio Art truly called to me after a few changes in studies.
After college I stepped away from art, to work with developmentally challenged individuals and the elderly. During this time , I married and began to start a family. In 2017 I began to work in the sip and paint industry combining the love of art and helping others. When the family moved from California to Florida, I continued the career path as a painting instructor. Painting with a twist gave me a Florida home. Sadly Divorce and heartbreak left me as a single mom to 3 handsome boys.
The Drive I posses and indomitable spirit along with the love of my children allowed me to become a Middle school Art teacher. Art has given me peace and purpose. Turning pain into positivity. My unique and charming point of view speaks to many. A true story of perseverance and the touchstone of self worth.
