I make sense of the world through concepts like love and grief, death and rebirth, humility and harmony; connecting the dots from one to another. In my work, you will see repeating subjects that hold deeper meaning than face value. I'm anything but passive in my ever-growing debate with the universe.
There's an intimate process in the way I paint as I work around the canvas from all angles, layering acrylics and diving into heavy topics like self-worth, self-sacrifice, nurture, and narcissism. I welcome you to explore my deepest thoughts and passions. Creating endlessly, I hope to reach another with the space and capacity to receive it. Without the two halves coming together, the connection remains orbital yet trusting.
I am the artist, Saint James. I grew up in the northeast but have found a home in Tampa for the past 8 years. I have a fine arts degree and have spent a lifetime exploring art mediums. In the last year I've fallen hard for acrylics. My focus is on perfecting and evolving through techniques and topics.
