Artist Statement

Biography

Born in Puerto Rico, Marcelino Velez, was raised in the South End of Boston. Most of his works consist of acrylic texture medium paintings using palette knives. He likes the added texture and dimension that this technique brings to the canvas. He graduated from Boston University with a degree in Biotechnology and later went to complete his MBA at Saint Leo University.
