Artist Statement

My mission - for people to enjoy and buy ORIGIONAL works, rather than prints, when possible. For neutral decor to be personalised by artworks rich with color and expression. Show personality and your story with artwork. Things you love, things that inspire, colours and patterns that make your heart sing. Our world can be restrictive, artwork isn't. If a piece makes you happy, my job is done.

Biography

I have always had a love for color, texture and art. I graduated from St Andrews University, Scotland, and worked in London for a number of years. then returned to my first love of Scotland and painting. I studied Art with the University of Glasgow and Strathclyde. Inspired by the wonderful artists in the West of Scotland, I studied watercolour first, before finding acrylic, ink, and water based oils to be my true home.

My paintings are colourful and bright. Positive. Happy. Usually textured. I exhibited regularly in the Scottish Contemporary Show in Glasgow, and throughout Scotland. During my time in the UK I shipped paintings as far afield as Australia and New Zealand.

I moved to Florida in 2016 to be with my American husband. During this time I have refined my techniques, and absolutely live and dream painting. I can't wait to paint, and I am often up in the early hours working away!

I ship paintings internationally regularly. My list of collectors is growing which is wonderful.
