Artist Statement

Life has taught me to be resilient. To always return to the inner authentic voice that has fueled my artist journey.
As most adventures in life grow with challenges, my health challenges opened space demanding and allowing my art to both comfort and direct my journey.
I draw and/or paint because I can share my voice, my heart, and my nurturing spirit. I embrace the qualities of divine feminine finding strength in our gentleness as embodies the idea of what is means to be empowered.

Biography

Leslie Alpha Bestulic
Studied Fine Arts at York University, Toronto Ont.
Interdisciplinary degree in Art, Education, and Psychology
Painted with Judi Dazzio of the Dazzio Art Experience.
Interned with The Geezer Gallery in Portland Oregon
Author and illustrator of Meet Lg and Dear Heart, a Listening Guide and Journal.
