My work is grounded in Spiritual Exploration and a Contemplation of our relationship to the Nature and Processes of Creation.

Biography

Paul Wesly Portal is an emerging artist in St. Petersburg, Florida. His work is strongly influenced by the contemplation of a personal sense of place and purpose in the dichotomy of the Natural and Spiritual realms of existence. A childhood spent in rural Central Florida and along the Gulf Coast, a formal training in Architecture and a long career in designing built environments combine to ground his approach in themes of Classical proportioning and compositional concepts, the exploration of natural geometries and systems, and a love of the World as a living organism.
