Artist Statement

"Art should be something that liberates your soul. "
I combine the sensitivity of the women figures with the ocean, and all the nature around us.
I use bright colors,acrylic paints and brush on canvas to capture life,making the brush dance and paints sing.
While Looking at my work you can experience the perfect day, stay silent, and appreciate the refreshing feeling. Living in Clearwater, I am no stranger to vibrancy. Through my art I am trying to bring others to this magical place.

Biography

Ivana Milijev was
Born in Nis,Serbia in 1987. She
Finished International University of New Pazar where she recieved a degree in art.
In her practice since 2010,Ivana specializes in glass painting.
Ivana's artworks has been shown in many European countries.
After moving to Florida in 2020 she made the move to switch careers from glass painting to acrylic canvases to fulfill a long held goal.
Her style emanates joy and peace, and express the vibrant spirit and atmosphere of Florida coast.
