As a photographer deeply passionate about local history, my work serves as a visual homage to the rich narratives embedded within the landscapes and structures of our communities. Through my lens, I aim to capture not just images, but the essence of a place.

Biography

Kerry Dezman is a photographer whose lens serves as a portal to the rich tapestry of history woven into the landscapes of her beloved Jersey Shore and adopted home of Tampa, Florida. Growing up amidst the salty sea air and sandy beaches of the Jersey Shore, Kerry developed a deep appreciation for the stories whispered by the ocean breeze.

Upon relocating to Tampa, Kerry found herself captivated by the vibrant tapestry of cultures and the storied past that defines the city's historic districts, particularly Ybor City. Immersing herself in the history of her new surroundings, Kerry discovered a passion for preserving and celebrating the heritage of Tampa through her art.
