Artist Statement

Death is inevitable and uncontrollable. Which is a terrifying thought until you realize what you do control is you.

There is so much freedom in that statement, so why not take it and run with it?

Life is too short to be spent passively watching the world around you. Chase after what sets your heart on fire, tell people no, hold yourself in high regard, heal.

Look deep into the nasty gooey black parts of yourself and accept it all with loving grace.

Because you don't get to choose when or how you die, but you do get to choose how you live, and there is so much more power in that than you think.

Biography

I'm just a silly little fella down in San Antonio that thinks people are most beautiful when they are unapologetically themselves.

Graduated college in 2021 with a BFA in graphic design, and a double minor in printmaking and illustration. I currently screenprint by day, and practice multiple disciplines of art by night.

My first love is printmaking, but I find that illustration, engraving, and watercolor have their merits too.

I honestly don't know what I'm doing or where I'm going, but I'm working on a mural, a coloring novel, and whatever other lovely things I can find the spare time to make.
