Artist Statement

My goal which each painting is too make it happy so folks will smile or laugh when they see it In my world, the more vibrant the color, the better.

Biography

My whole life I made jigsaw puzzles, always just looking at the colors on the puzzle pieces. I didn't look at the box top, just the color in the pieces and how they should be together I never really saw the big picture until the puzzle was completed. So when I started painting 5 years ago, as a self taught artist, I found my process was similar. It usually takes me about 2 days before I see the painting as a whole and not just color. Living in Florida allows me to play with color as I paint things that make me smile and laugh.
