Artist Statement

Captivation by beauty is one of the most exhilarating feelings on Earth. I paint to bring you that experience while enhancing your surroundings with my art.

It's my pleasure for my paintings to take your breath away, transporting you to extraordinary realms. Inspired by nature, I paint abstract-realistic wildlife and figures adorned with blossoms to create visions of paradise. I love to use mixed-media oils, stencils, collage, markers and gold leaf with ornamental designs and luscious colors.

Biography

Valorie Vogel, a California-born American artist, living in Florida, paints lusciously colored figurative, nature-themes in mixed media/oil. She adores Klimt who inspires her intricate creative designs of an abstract realism style.
At 5, her artist Grandfather showed her how to color crayons with directional marks, igniting her desire to be an artist.
In 1978, she signed up for art lessons, and a week ahead of time, painted an oil seascape on canvas paper. Valorie's Art Gallery was established and the adventure began.
Her unquenchable creative fire also channeled into signs, murals and holiday window painting, as her father did. Add stained glass and jewelry to the mix and her creations number over 10,000. Today, she focuses only on her canvas paintings.
Her work has been exhibited in several galleries and won many awards. "Aurora" was featured on the "Sedona Journal of Emergence" magazine cover for July 2001.
Basically self-taught for 42 years, Valorie graduated from "Mastery" at Milan Art Institute in 2023, to elevate her abilities.
