Artist Statement


In 2005, Ronald Kotinsky became a resident of the sunshine state. He has always found inspiration in the natural beauty that surrounds him. He spent countless hours exploring the beaches, swamps, and forests that make up the diverse landscapes of Florida. It was during these formative years that he developed a deep appreciation for the delicate balance of life that exists in the natural world.

After completing his formal education in engineering, Ronald Kotinsky pursued his passion for photography and quickly became enamored with the art of capturing the beauty of the natural world through his lens. He spent years honing his craft and developing his unique style, which is characterized by a keen eye for detail and a deep respect for the environment.

Today, Ronald Kotinsky is widely recognized as one of the leading nature photographers in Florida. His work has been featured in numerous galleries, magazines, and exhibitions, and he has received numerous accolades for his contributions to the field of nature photography. Biography


Ronald Kotinsky discovered his passion for photography out in a kayak in Tampa Bay and quickly realized that his love of nature and his artistic talents could be combined to create something truly special. He spent years honing his craft, experimenting with different techniques and styles, and building a reputation as one of the most talented photographers in the state of Florida.

Ronald's favorite subjects to photograph is birds - specifically, raptors. He is fascinated by their grace and power and loves to capture their majesty in his images. He spends countless hours in the field, patiently waiting for the perfect shot, and his dedication has paid off his images of birds of prey are breathtakingly beautiful and have won him numerous accolades.

But birds aren't the only thing that Ronald loves to photograph. He is also obsessed with lightning storms - an interest that dates back to 2016, when he became stranded out in the Bay during a severe storm. He loves the drama and power of these storms, and his images capture the raw energy of nature in a way that few others can.

In addition to birds and lightning, Ronald is also known for his stunning landscape photography. He has traveled all over Florida and beyond, capturing the beauty of the natural world in all its glory. His images are characterized by a deep appreciation for the interplay of light, color, and texture, and he has a knack for finding beauty in even the most mundane of subjects.
