Artist Statement

To me, the world of photography is a constant learning process. Each new skill leads to another discovery and something exciting and interesting to explore. That is why you will see a wide variety of images in my portfolio, from original photographs to composites to various creative treatments (camera movement, painting effects, grunge effects, etc...)

I am constantly exploring new ways to improve my editing skills for my landscape photography.
I am constantly exploring new ways to capture images for better composition.
I am constantly exploring new ways to created images for more interesting stories.

The most fun is discovering a new technique/tool and just playing around and uncovering the unexpected.

Biography

I am a photographer, mostly for hobby and learning. I have always been the one with the camera on vacations and family & friend special events. After a 30 year career as a project manager with IBM, I turned my focus onto my photography, working to improve my skills in composition and editing.
