Artist Statement

Florida provides and abundance of subject matter to paint and draw. I am drawn to the flora and fauna to be able to express myself as an artist. I love the sunshine, wildlife and landscape of Florida. I strive to project this love into my artwork and connect with the viewer.

Biography

I am a mostly self taught artist living in St. Petersburg, Florida. I work mainly in watercolors and pen and ink. I enjoy plein air painting and Florida is the perfect state for a plein air artist. Watercolors are a challenging medium to work in. But when everything thing works the results are magical.
