Ann Brigati-Mongelli

Artist Statement

Ann considers her art as a way to bring attention to the beauty of the natural world around us. She feels her art is a way to bring a moment of peace and serenity to others by portraying the splendor of our natural environment.

Biography

Ann Brigati-Mongelli, a native Floridian, is inspired by nature and wildlife. She frequents the beautiful local parks and loves to visit national parks across the country where inspiration abounds. Ann, a self-taught artist, began painting regularly in acrylics as of January 2022 and joined the Plein Air Adventure group in October 2022. Ann’s work, at this time, is primarily acrylic landscape/seascape paintings, as well as occasional home/house portraits. Paintings are done both outdoors (en plein air) or at her home studio. Ann’s art mentors include Shawn Dell Joyce, instructor and leader of Plein Air Adventure group, as well as artists/online instructors Jed Dorsey, Richard Robinson and Samuel Earp.
