As a professional photographer, visual storyteller, and avid traveler, I see the world with a painter's eye and capture it with a camera. I believe photography is an outlet and a means of expression. My goal is to make images that transport my audience into the time and place of my lens, so that they can feel as awed and inspired by the world around them as I am and share in my wonder of the planet on which we live.
I am a Tampa-based photographer and visual storyteller with a passion for travel and education. At age twelve I began taking pictures with my father's camera, and discovered the magic of showing people the world through my lens.
My love for travel has taken me to 38 U.S. states, 18 countries, and 3 continents, and my work encompasses a variety of subjects; from landscapes, to portraits, to details, and everything in between, but always tells the story of the places I go, the people I meet, or the things I see.
I currently work at Canon USA as the Eastern U.S. Sales Manager for Higher Education, and as an online adjunct professor of communication at Community College of RI. I also teach photography and video workshops to foster community and youth engagement, and to support environmental and social activism in the US and abroad. I earned a BFA in Photography from Parsons School of Design in NYC, and am working towards a Masters in Communication from Syracuse University, S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communication.
