Audra refers to both Florida and her work as "good weird." A playful term to describe things that don't subscribe to the traditional idea what's good or beautiful. Using neon and fluorescent color in nearly all of her work and a loose abstract-impressionistic style she hopes to inspire feelings of joy and fun with her pieces. Most of her work begins as playful practice with a goal to create something to make the world a more beautiful space to exist in while a deeper meaning may come during the process or from the viewer themselves.
Born and raised in the Tampa Bay Area, Audra Crawford creates work inspired by the vibrant and sun soaked energy that Florida has to offer. Audra is a self-taught artist with a style that has continued to evolve over the past several years. A self described sun chaser, Audra creates intuitive playful art in rich delicious colors with tropical elements.
