My mission with my artwork is to create something to invoke a feeling from the viewer. I want to make people smile. Most of the art I create has an ambiguous emotion associated with the character that each viewer can connect to differently and interpret for themselves. Is it sleepy? Is it anxious? Is it happy? Its up to you!!! This allows everyone to enjoy it in their own way.
Mr. Cory Robinson's art has been described as playful and uplifting with his fresh color palette and adorable characters. Cory was born and raised in Berlin, CT but most recently resides in sunny Tampa, FL. Growing up skateboarding, he moved from Connecticut to Tampa and then to Philadelphia where the skating was good and where this city of brotherly love accepted Robinson's art with open arms. He moved back to the Tampa in 2010 to bring his joyful work back to the Sunshine State. Over the past two decades, he has shown work in New England, NYC, Philly, Michigan, California and Florida. He is a multidisciplinary artist but primarily works on found windows and creating murals. If you want to see more work check his website or look weekly in Creative Loafing where he does weekly illustrations he calls "PSA's"
