My paintings in the Nature's Beauty show are three of my landscapes. My three landscapes include my piece "Around the Bend", 24'x18, Oil on Canvas. This painting is a view from a hike I took in Townsend, Tennessee while on a family road trip. Another of my paintings is "Afternoon in Edinburg", 16'x20', Oil on Canvas which is a painting from a trip with my wife to Edinburg, Scotland, overlooking the hike to Arthur's Seat. The third of my paintings in this exhibit , "A Bike Ride in Oregon", 15'x11', Oil on Canvas from a photo a good friend took while pausing on a bicycle ride in Oregon. This collection is a small demonstration of my love of capturing my environment and expressing it on canvas. I see the beauty in the play of light through the natural elements, and the effect on the natural color. I work in thick layers and work to grasp and express my emotional interpretation.
I have a Bachelors degree in Fine Arts from the University of South Florida. I work in a variety of styles and mediums by I enjoy Oil paint the most.
