My artistic mission is to create meaningful, lasting art that captures and preserves personal memories and speaks to the soul. As an artist, I believe that beauty alone is not enough. Art has the power to educate and inspire change. In this work, I have focused on environmental themes, aiming to raise awareness about pressing issues such as pollution, climate change, and conservation. Through these pieces, I hope to engage viewers, especially children, encouraging them to become stewards of our planet. Art becomes more meaningful when it serves a purpose beyond aesthetics—a purpose that resonates with our shared responsibility to protect the Earth.
As an artist fueled by boundless creativity, I find inspiration in the world around me. My journey began in Ukraine at the Kiev National University of Constructure and Architecture, where I earned an MS degree in Mechanical Engineering. For years, I worked as a mechanical design engineer, but my heart always gravitated toward art.
I have been painting for 20 years. I am going to retire next year, and I’m ready to embrace my dream of becoming a “full time†professional artist. My passion lies in exploring diverse painting mediums, oil, pastel, but it’s watercolors that truly captivate me.
My favorite watercolor artists are Carol Carter, Alvaro Castagnet, and Nicolas Lopez.
Beyond traditional mediums, I’m learning Digital art and AI. I am very interested in creating murals.
I have participated in many local exhibitions, including Art in a Park in Dunedin, Clearwater, Tarpon Springs and St. Pete.
My creativity extends beyond canvas and brush. As a volunteer, I channel my energy to make a difference—supporting different causes, raising funds for veterans and children with special needs, and helping elderly people.
I like to read art books, visit art galleries and museums. And when I do it, I absorb a fresh perspective that fuel my own creative fire.
