Artist Statement

Contemporary art is the art of today, work in a globally influenced and culturally diverse. Art is part of a cultural dialogue that concerns larger contextual frameworks such as personal and cultural identity, family, community, and nationality. It reflects the complex issues that shape our diverse, global, and
rapidly changing world.

The most prominent feature of contemporary art is the fact that it has no distinct feature
or a single characteristic. It is defined by the artist's ability to innovate and bring out
a modern masterpiece.

Through my work, I explore personal and cultural identity with my portraits. My works often challenge our ideas about what art should look like or how it should behave.

Questioning established forms is something artists have always done, and supporting today's makers as they experiment with new, multidisciplinary ways of working is central to art.

Whether you are surprised, perplexed, or thrilled by what you see, I hope you are inspired to reflect on the issues important to you and your community.

Biography

An accomplished artist, driven by the passion to immerse in art, whether it's the art of drawing, painting or music. Portrait artist that creates custom black, white and grey pen and ink drawings on canvas boards framed. Transforming a photograph into a personalized portrait. The style is expressive, so you will see pen lines in the drawings. Paying close attention to light and shadow so the drawings appear to glow.

Drawing the majority of life, now a contemporary artist known for the vibrant portrait depictions of pop icons, pets and family members. The use of bold lines in black, white and grey with gestural emotions commands the attention of many prominent and private collections today.
