Biography

Jessica has always loved art in many forms. Showing her art from as early as elementary and middle school. In middle school, she was the only girl in the art club. That year, they visited the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. There, she saw paintings by Vincent van Gogh and fell in love with his Irises (1890). If you visit her home today, you will see the print from the museum she purchased that day. In high school, she still entered school art shows even though she wasn't in art or the art club. A few years later, she opened a ceramic business with her family; there, she taught and won awards in that craft. Later, working for an arts and crafts store, she was the lead instructor, collaborating with other instructors to teach the different arts and crafts classes in the store. Later, she owned a small cake decorating business. While living in Pennsylvania, she learned that doing art therapy would help her son with his fine motor skills difficulties. They were both discovered and had a joint show in the lower Catskills. Soon after she moved back to central Florida, she did a few art events in Lakeland and Tampa. From there, she started doing shows in galleries in all around Central Florida.
