Jessica D’Amico is a jewelry artist and metalsmith who lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. When time permits, she enjoys exploring with paint as it is the opposite of working with metal. Although, worlds collide when color gets involved. Working with colored stones over the past 25 years + has given Jessica a certain sensibility of light and color. Jessica’s mixed media paintings utilize bold pigment creating a universe that is both luminous and layered. Explorations of patterns, mirrored dimensions and feelings of expansiveness have become a central theme around her work.
