Artist Statement

Jim is a self-taught artist interested in expressing and sharing his innermost feelings relating to a particular subject rather than merely portraying what he sees through the camera's lens. He also has a profound interest in how the viewer perceives his work, inviting them to explore worlds they may never have considered.

He has won numerous photography awards for his work in both domestic and international competitions. In addition, several of his images have been published in recent issues of "Shots" magazine. In 2021 Jim had his first solo show, "The Transmutation Of Souls", at the House Of Shadows Gallery in Tampa.
