It is my honor and pleasure to share my work with you, in any of its forms.
These captures in black and white offer an insight into my unique experiences as a neurodivergant genderqueer individual fighting to thrive in the Southwestern US. The combination of back and white are of a particular interest to me, as a visual and performance artist, elder goth, and progenitor of the House of Zebra Jasper- an intentional collection of creative queer radicals based out of the City Different. We named our household after the zebra jasper stone, known since antiquity for encouraging balance, fighting apathy, and its stunning appearance- a marbled, swirling black and white.
From my meditative linework to intimate photography, I share as part of my calling to live out, loud and visible- growing pains and all. Radical self expression is an element of my work as a consent culture advocate, and I am grateful for your participation in this element of my creative expression. It is my fondest hope that the moments you spend with these artworks are contemplative, and I invite you to peruse my more of my work if you are so intrigued. While the majority of my photography and drawing is in black and white, I frequently find delight in working with audacious colors and textures especially in my paintings and pattern-work.
We have the power to change the world into a better place by dropping our assumptions and making decisions based on interactions with each other rather than just accepting what we're told is 'normal.' Unapologetically anti-racist, unapologetically queer, unapologetically myself. With ardent gratitude, I thank you for sharing your time.
An adventure with Julian Addams Wolf promises to be filled with creative exploration and flairs of hedonism. A person who dons many hats, Julian is known as a visual and performance artist, educator, and producer who's worked as a consent culture activist for so long they might be a vampire.
Their current projects include producing events and shows with the House of Zebra Jasper and Audacious Productions, providing services as Addams-Wolf Divination, and collaborating on, creating, and encouraging works of art. You can find them performing burlesque and on the microphone as Julian Addams, and you can follow their adventures on social media via Instagram (@thejulianwolf), Facebook (/professionaljulian, /cabaretaudacity) and Twitter (/julianwolf.) Rediscovering their passion and finally giving themselves permission to be a visual artist during a grief counseling session during their thirties, Julian Addams Wolf has found their expression through portraiture, painting, drawing, and performance art. This passion has led them into new collaborations as a model, and sharing their visual art in galleries and festivals across the southwest.
