General Artist Statement
In my early 20s, I experimented with a range of drugs, attended a series of pop music festivals with my tent, and had a marvelous time playing with hippie clothing. I initially experienced drugs as mind-expanding, but later found that they affected my ability to do basic arithmetic and even think clearly. I mostly stopped using drugs, and recovered my skills, but some of my friends suffered more serious addictions and long term consequences. This is about one of them.
