Masculinity can be a beautiful other half to feminity, but often what we see is toxic and harmful displays of it. Within my body of work I often focus on human rights issues, so I decided to show both sides. One piece shows the masculine desire to control reproductive organs and inflict pain to assert dominance; while the other pieces show the potentional great side of masculinity which is courage, strength, and resilience such as when transmasc people carry the weight of transition and affirmation.
I am from the Tampa Bay Area & studied Fine Arts at the University of Tampa. I am often inspired by community activism(specifically issues that affect women.)
