The human being is an amazing, wonderful product of nature that should constantly surprise us and keep of us in awe of our potential.

Biography

Michael Sheehan
Michael was raised in Ireland but has lived in Florida for the last 30 years. As a practicing physician and psychiatrist, he is a longtime student of the human mind and body, its perceptions, emotions, reactions and conditions. His main photographic work has been as a portraitist with a special interest in environmental portraits. He attempts to portray his human subjects with humanity, power, love and dignity, in harmony with their environment.
A photographer since childhood, his ongoing study of Classical Painting and photography has been a huge influence on his choice of subjects, compositions, lighting and color palettes. Having an eclectic mindset and suffering from terminal curiosity, he continues to photographically explore the psychological and physical worlds he daily encounters.
