Artist Statement

I paint energy, it translates in my work as swirls and waves of vivid color. I love to work intuitively, letting myself get absorbed in each brush stroke and feel each shade. I work with acrylic paint, the freedom it gives me mirrors my artwork and style of creating. A satisfying duality of bold expression and soft but striking femininity is present in my work.

Biography

Nikita Rosalind is a born and raised St.Petersburg local. Her early childhood sparked her love for creating. She studied Visual Arts and graduated from Pinellas County Center for the Arts in 2005. She began her painting career studying and working independently in 2017. Nikita has grown to have a working art studio in beautiful downtown Gulfport and shows her work around the Tampa Bay Area.
