The thing i love most about photography and photographers is that everyone's style is different, even my own on any given day. Each photographer's vision of a moment and how they see it is able to be translated to images for others to view. I don't really have a set style, but i also prefer it that way. One day i may feel happy and my images take on a bright colorful hue, the next day i may be down and moody and grey. Other times artistic , or realism are the preference and my images reflect those feelings as well. I love that i can change the vision of an image just by my mood. Additionally, two photographers can be working side by side viewing the same subject matter and come up with two completely different images, though the subject itself has its own image of realism. The freedom of expression in photography, though the subjects are quite realistic, is fascinating to me.
I have lived in the Tampa area since I was 2 years old. My love for photography started to grow about 15 years ago on a trip to the Pacific Northwest, wanting to show others - and be able to remember - the stunning landscapes and people. Road-trips are my favorite way to travel, being able to see all the details that the earth has to offer. Music is also very important to me and there is usually some soundtrack to go along with my daily life and trips. A few years ago, photography, travel and music all merged together into a love for concert photography. There's something about capturing an artist in that moment of doing what they love and moving souls that just does it for me. Concert photography would be my most favorite subject matter, with nature and landscape a close second. I think I'll always consider myself new to photography because there is so much to learn and techniques, vision and equipment are always changing. It's definitely my passion to freeze a moving moment or enhancing nature's vision that feeds my soul.
