I use my work to tell stories and express my deeply held (sometimes erratic) thoughts and emotions. Many of my pieces involve the merging of the body and nature in order to express a feeling (like fear or excitement) or concept (like rebirth, or decay.) I love to represent natural bodies, natural hair, and show a kind of untamed, fierce feminine energy.
I was born and raised in Florida, and I have been drawing and creating stories ever since childhood. My biggest inspirations were anime and Disney movies. I continued to pursue art throughout school. In community college, I majored in Art, and for the first time I took formal lessons in drawing and painting, which opened me up to brand new ways of making art. Despite the knowledge I gained in college, I became discouraged shortly after graduating and stopped pursuing my art seriously. It wasn't until late 2021 that I found my passion again, and decided that I needed to continue to express myself and share my creations with others. My focus is on continuing to improve as an artist, and to use my work to connect with the community .
