Artist Statement

As an Artist it is my mission to expose the world to creativity that truly comes from within a person. Not to remake things that are already captured in a photo but to bring my own thoughts into the art. I teach this type of creating. I want people to express themselves and be comfortable with who they are through art. I hope my art brings enjoyment, happiness, peace or fun thought provoking thoughts to the viewer. I want my work to be a welcomed expression in it's home. I love design and home interior. I also love to bring personality to a space so this is what I strive for in all my paintings. Life should be anything but boring. I hope you find that in my works!

Biography

Sandee Mahler is an American painter born of the German lineage. Her last name actually means "Fine Painter" . This has defined her as a natural evolving artist through her life.

Discovering paint as her favorite medium at a young age has been her passion to use in her artist journey. From Murals, Furniture to Textured Faux walls, her style has developed bringing all these facets with her onto the canvas today. Her style is contemporary, intuitive with a bit of representational elements to bring familiarity and interesting textures to please the curiosity within her audience. Her work is also recognizable because of the movement and energy she applies to it. Acrylic and Mixed Mediums are typical of her main body of work however, She has been known to introduce oil to her pieces.

Sandee's paintings can be found displayed in her gallery and online. She is a current working member of the Naples Art District since 2016. This is the location of her Gallery as well in North Naples. She teaches intuitive painting to ages 14 and up.
