Artist Statement

I am an artist inspired by color and how it brings joy to me as I paint. I'm usually working with acrylics as I love to paint fast and the drying technique with acrylics works for me, but I'm not afraid to try any interesting mediums.
My paintings celebrate the love I have in combining color, form, and texture. The results that come from my ideas and on to my canvas are my reward. The ultimate reward is when someone falls in love with my creation and wants to purchase it for their own.
Create often, include the young and always share!

Biography

It was a very early start as my kindergarten teacher was an artist and generously passed her knowledge on to all her students. Her name was Winifred O. Long, a well known artist here on St Pete.
I just remember seeing her chalkboard murals and being absolutely enamored by her illustrations... My thoughts were "I just want to draw like her" and so my course was set!
