Information

Broken. This painting reflects on the way a person can feel broken both physically and emotionally. It is part of a series called Fractured Expressionism where the works take on a broken or shattered look. The texture of the painting is incorporated into the theme helping to provoke certain emotions. This one in particular, shows a figure holding a small child in a city that seems to be falling apart. This painting was created with the use of brushes and palette knives.
