Information

Sometimes what you are meant to be feels inherently wrong. Sometimes those that accept and nurture us are not the ones we are born to, and sometimes belonging doesn't mean conforming. Birds of a Feather portrays an unconventional depiction of found family and self-acceptance when what we are told to think and feel is dissonant with our internal reality. It is finding your place in a world where you can allow yourself to just fearlessly be without judgement or persecution. Birds of a Feather is created with watercolor and ink and some gel pen overlaid on top to enhance the dimension and bring out any subtle details washed out from the watercolor.
