Information

Mixed media on linen canvas with textured gesso and acrylic paint. As I began to select the color/theme, I was drawn to browns, blues and teals. The colors and way they interacted reminded me of pictures I've seen of Iceland's Ice Caves - I imagined those cave melting, allowing the ice and earth to blend as one. It was so organic and earthy. I couldn't get those images out of my mind as I created this painting. What do you see? The painting comes custom framed in a brown wood frame, and includes a signed and sealed Certificate of Authenticity from the artist. Canvas size of 12 x 16 inches, framed size 14.12 x 18.12 inches.
