Information

Oil painting on 16 x 20 x 0.5 inc canvas of the sun still casting it's beautiful light on storm clouds, the reflection of the sky over a calm body of water and the elegance of a bald eagle as it soars through the sky. During the process of painting, my son suggested I name the piece "Sun's Resilience" because of how it is still fighting to shine even after a storm. I wanted to put add a bird to the scene and after researching I found that a bald eagle is a symbol of resilience. Once the eagle was added, I found so much peace in this piece.
