Information

PIERROT'S PARTY presents the viewer with a window into a magical world outside of our own that emerges as the sun sets and day transitions to night. While the Pierrot is traditionally a somber character, here he is envisioned as the mysterious ringleader of a mischievous party attended by an ensemble of night-dwellers. My intentions with this work was to create a simple, balanced composition featuring a set of characters that invite the onlooker to envision what activities might take place within and create their own story.
