Information

Washington Square Park is the heart of Greenwich Village. Since I was born and raised in Greenwich Village, "the park" served as my backyard. My favorite part as a child was the playground with the monkey bars! Now I appreciate all the park's attractions including street entertainment and people watching. This painting depicts a typical early spring day, attracting those who enjoy the same things I do!
