Information
My teacher alerted my fifth grade class at P.S.41 (the "Greenwich Village School") that this building was considered an eyesore and was about to be torn down. My classmates went to work with petitions to save it and we were successful! The building now serves as a public library as well as a Greenwich Village landmark.
