Covid-19 sucks the big one. We've lost too many people, too many jobs, drowned in depression and substance abuse, our kids have fallen behind in school, and society has splintered into bitterly opposed factions. Pharmaceutical companies rake in cash hand over fist, and politicians work the people with divisiveness and fear mongering. Social media has become a tool that kills empathy and too often facilitates the dehumanization of others. Covid is real, no doubt, but what is more real is the realization that we have a limited time on this planet and only one shot at this thing called life. Let's make the world a better place. Let's live. Let's love each other. Let's cherish those moments with our children and parents and pets. Do nice things for others. Be civil. Be selfless. Always look for the humor and laugh, even in the worst of situations. Most of all, Fuck Covid.
